My heels dug into his ass and I lifted my hips to his, trying to align our bodies. “Please fuck me now. Please, Kyle,” I begged. I didn’t care if everyone on the island heard me.
“That’s not my name,” he teased as he rubbed himself against me.
“Kylian, please!”
Then we were a blur of motion. We couldn’t get enough of each other. Teeth and nails bit into skin as we climbed higher and higher. Fireworks exploded behind my eyelids several times before he crumbled with me. He rolled us so I laid on top of him before he relaxed. Nobody had ever been so considerate of me before. Usually, after the deed, the man sat up and left, or collapsed on top of me. Kyle was a big dude. If he collapsed, I could take it, but I’m sure it would hurt a little.
But he didn’t fall on me. And he didn’t break the connection between us. Even when he softened inside me, he stayed there, holding me close and stroking my hair. My heart swelled in my chest. I might be in trouble with Kylian, but it didn’t make me move away from him. No, I only nestled closer. My cheek rubbed against his chest as I listened to his erratic heartbeat slow. His chest lifted and lowered in a jarring motion until his breathing turned smooth and even. Soft singing touched my ears before I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Kisses swept down my neck to my breasts, pulling me from dreamland. I moaned as lips closed around my nipple and a tongue flicked the bud to life. My fingers found hair as Kylian’s mouth moved to the other nipple. His hand squeezed my tits and pushed them together so he could play with both at the same time. He lifted his head and blew a cool breath over the wetness. They hardened even more, if it were possible.
“Oh God,” I whispered.
“Nope, just me,” he responded. His elbow braced his upper body above me while his stomach held my hips prisoner. I felt pressure at my ass and my heartbeat sped up when I realized his dick hung there. It didn’t take long for me to realize he didn’t intend to enter my ass, but had just let his cock rest there while he worked me up. Thank God. That was a no loading zone.
“How can you be ready to go after that wonderful performance from earlier?”
He answered by biting down on the skin just below my right tit. I squeaked, and my legs jerked. His waist prevented me from closing my legs.
“I let you take a nap, but I need more of you.” A growl fell from his throat as he propped my hips up, cupping me. He mimicked my ministrations from the bathroom. It took no time at all for me to cry out. “Are you ready now?”
“Uh, fuck yeah!”
Round two was even more amazing than round one. With his fingers digging into my skin, I rode him. Sweat drenched our bodies. It felt so good that I never wanted it to end, especially when he lifted me up, then drove into me so hard my teeth snapped together. I collapsed that time, and we laid together for a while, drinking each other in and basking in the afterglow.
“Wow.”
His chest rumbled with laughter beneath me. “Yeah, I second that.”
I folded my arms over his chest, resting my chin on them so I could look into his face. “So, Kylian Bloom, where are you from?”
“Originally from Oklahoma. What about you?”
“Oklahoma? That explains the cowboy vibe. We were just there for a golf tournament,” I said, smiling.
He pinched my ass, causing me to yell. “You didn’t answer my question, so I get another one for free. I’ve dated Vietnamese girls before, but none had your stunning complexion. Where did you get that from?”
I’ll admit, my ego was fanned a bit. “My dad is Vietnamese, and my mom is biracial. I’m the darkest of my siblings, but I’m also the only one that got my grandma’s eyes. I’m from Missouri.”
His eyes lit with mischief. “Gorgeous combination. And Missouri, huh? That explains why you’re such a lightweight.”
“Excuse me? What do my geographical origins have to do with how much I can drink?” I sat up, straddling him once more, but with no intention of letting him take me again. Well, at least until we got something to drink. My stomach growled. And maybe something to eat.
He laughed again. “Come on, I’ll get you something from the vending machine. You’re not gonna have much luck getting food around here right now.”
When he lifted me from his lap, he set me on the side of the bed, and he did it as if I weighed nothing. His muscles didn’t strain once. Inside, my stomach fluttered. Nobody ever made me feel small, but somehow, he did.
But, I wasn’t lightweight in any sense of the word and he would learn that. After food.
I looked around the room for the first time and realized there was only one bed in the room. King bed, no friend walking in. I tested my legs one at a time, then stood. They were a bit wobbly, but they’d do. My thighs burned, and my bowlegged walk definitely wouldn’t win me any runway points.
Kylian moved from the bed just fine, the bastard. His perky ass flexed as he walked to the bathroom. Not bad, cowboy. When he strolled back out, shorts covered the goods. I sighed. Whether it was in relief that I had time to rest or because I missed looking at his beautiful cock, I couldn’t tell you.
“Left a shirt in there in case you wanted to slip it on. Your shorts are still wet and sandy.”
I thanked him, and sumo walked all the way to the bathroom. When I looked in the mirror, I laughed. “Reach for the sky,” I quoted my favorite cartoon cowboy.
Kylian had draped my shorts and swim suit over the curtain rod. I washed my face and nether regions quickly but gently. Then, I grabbed the bottoms and slipped them on as best as I could before pulling his shirt over my head.
My legs burned, so I did some stretches to loosen my muscles up a bit, but it didn’t work. I’d rode a horse, and this was my punishment.
The sound of a door slamming made me jump, pulling me from my thoughts. With my heart in my throat, I peeked around the doorframe. “Kylian?”
Exiting the bathroom, I looked in the entryway mirror and saw a corner of the bed. There were bags laid out. Chip bags. Yes! I did my best rendition of running to the bed and scanned the options, scooping the Takis from the pile. A bottle of water appeared in front of me and I downed half of it before finishing off my small bag.
“I didn’t know what you liked, so I got a few choices.” He smirked. “Although, it looked like walking was a bit painful for you.”
I narrowed my eyes at him. “I wonder why.”
“No clue.”
He grabbed one of the Twix wrappers and went to work on it. I reached out and snuck the other one under my leg as I sat, whistling innocently. I pointed to the side of the room and shouted, “What’s that?” He looked at me, puzzled, then turned his head in the direction I pointed. I took the opportunity to hide the rest of my favorites under my legs.
His head whipped back around, and he pointed at me. “I saw that,” he accused.
“What? Who? Where?”
Then he attacked. We laughed and talked about random things while we snacked. I learned he enjoyed coffee before bed and only ended up in that room by luck, and smooth talking. He and his friends went in on a room and two of them canceled last minute. He used the rooms already rented to sweet talk the clerk into upgrading him. There was a no-show for the room and his lucky ass got the spot all to himself. His other friend stayed with the double bed, but didn’t have to worry about anyone walking in on any fun.
I told him how ‘fun’ I was with my studying to be a dental hygienist and constant golf tournaments. He told me about his rodeo days and how he still competes in roping every now and then, but criminal justice had called his name and had become his real passion.
Eventually we fell asleep talking on his ginormous bed and drinking tequila from his stash. The next morning, he woke me in the best way possible, again. I can seriously get used to this. But I wouldn’t let him do anything until I did the same for him. Everyone deserved a good morning breakfast. He he he.
Then we took another shower. After we
got out, he dried my body and hair for me. The amazing, yet agonizing minute it took him to do that was akin to torture. Nothing sexual, all sensual. I didn’t know there was such a huge difference between the two. Not until that moment.
I eventually went back to my room to, ya know, change and whatnot. I checked in with my friends and made sure they all knew where I’d be. Kylian had cards to get into the PadreManiac shows, which had been the whole reason I’d come to the beach to begin with. I wanted to see Machine Gun Kelly, who would be performing later. No way would I miss it. Partying with my new friend was just a plus!
“I am the gunner!” the crowd screamed in unison. Bodies pressed together and swayed to the rhythm of the song. We sang and rapped along to every song we knew and laughed when someone messed up. Drinks poured from every angle as the sun beat down on us. It was the funnest concert I’d ever been to.
After MGK left, a DJ came on and everyone continued to dance and drink the day away. What seemed like hours later, I felt sick. We needed food to soak up the alcohol and my poor white boy looked like he might be turning into a lobster.
“Let’s go eat!” I yelled over the music. He nodded, then led us away from the throng of sweaty, drunk bodies. The hotel lobby had limited premade food, but it tasted delicious.
We retired back to his room and had our own party all through the night. When the next morning rolled around, something felt different. It took me a minute to realize I had to leave today, and I hadn’t told him yet. Most people stayed the entire week for Spring Break, but I had things to do. Our next match was a couple weeks away and I had so much school work to do before then. My insides jolted around inside me just thinking about it.
Kylian stirred beside me and I realized I finally had the opportunity to start his morning off right. And I did. When we fell into the sheets a while later, I felt a little twinge in my chest. At first, I thought it might be a heart attack, but that couldn’t be it. Maybe I’d pulled a muscle, or something. I rotated my arm and ruled that out too. Could I really feel bad for leaving him? Impossible. He couldn’t have crept his way into my heart that fast…right?
“It’s Wild and Out Wednesday at Louie’s Backyard. Starts at noon if you’re interested,” he offered from beside me, a big hand reaching over to caress my exposed body. “Or we could chill in here all day.” His arms closed around me and he dragged me to his side.
“You’re insatiable. I love it!” I giggled as he rolled over and nibbled at my ear. “But I can’t today. Actually, I have to go.”
His mouth stopped its journey down my neck. “Right now?” he asked as he pulled back.
“I’m sorry.” His arms loosened so I took the opportunity to roll from the bed. My feet hit the floor so hard my knees shook. Or maybe my knees were weak from the bull staring at me from on top of the sheets. His chest glistened with a thin layer of sweat and as my gaze went lower to his hardening abdomen, I drooled a little.
“Good Lord, you’re gorgeous.” I needed to turn my back to him now, or I’d never find the strength to get dressed. Check out was at eleven and I still had to pack. Time just wasn’t on my side that morning. At all.
“Thank you, darlin’. I happen to be extremely fond of your body, too,” he said with a wink.
I’m melting. Melting! Suddenly, I giggled, feeling all too much like the wicked witch when the thought bounced through my mind. “I’ve truly enjoyed this.” I waved a hand between us. “You’re the hottest and sweetest guy I’ve ever met.”
He let out a nervous laugh, then arched an eyebrow at me. “Why does this feel like ‘goodbye’ and not ‘see you later’ type stuff?”
I shimmied into my jean shorts and patted the back pocket to ensure the room key had stayed put. No words would form, so I climbed onto the mattress and kissed his swollen, rosy lips.
When we parted, his eyes looked. . . sad. The molten heat from before had been put out, and I didn’t like it. In fact, my chest hurt again.
“Olivia?”
I pecked his lips again and turned away. I couldn’t look into his face. This isn't a big deal. It was only a Spring Break hook-up. So just tell him that. My toes slipped into my sandals, ending my stalling technique. “Look, I’m going back to school today. Our next invitational is in a couple weeks and I have final assignments I need to finish. This has been the best Spring Break I’ve ever been to and I owe that to you. I’ll never forget this experience.”
Before he could say anything, I turned and bolted from the room.
“Wait! What college are you in?”
He was still naked, so I had a good minute or two to get to my room. Hopefully my friends did me a solid by packing my bag. The steps to the floor below passed in a blur. Before I knew it, I pushed into my room, after a small fight with the card reader.
“Cutting it close, Olivia. We were about to leave without you,” Georgette called over her shoulder. “Marlie is bringing the car to the front and Jess should be—”
“Here!” Jess shouted from the door. “Marlie is bitching, but we’re officially checked out. Let’s hit the road, bitches!”
My bag sat on the bed, nice, neat, and full of my things. Georgette was the mother hen of our group, so I knew without a doubt she’d packed for me. I bounced over and smacked my lips onto her cheek with enthusiasm. “The next one will be on the lips if we can get outta here right now without turning back.”
“I knew you had a crush on me,” she teased.
I made an inappropriate gesture using two fingers and my tongue while slinging both our bags over my shoulder. We made record time hitting the road and leaving the small island in our rearview.
Two weeks later, I stood on the green of the last hole. Measurements were calculated in my head and all I had to do was sink the ball. My gloves twisted around the handle of the putter and I shifted my weight on my feet. You got this. Easy peasy. I pulled back a little, then let go. The ball rolled, curved, and sunk.
Gentle applause sounded around me, and I gave myself an inner high-five. It may not have been my best game, but I’d done good enough to celebrate later. The team kicked ass and I went out with a birdie, bringing my overall to a whopping 74. I couldn’t have been happier.
After the award ceremony, we mingled and shook hands with all the other students. Many were envious because we placed second, but who wouldn’t be? Our college wasn’t far from the hosting campus, so our coaches gave us a few minutes with everyone. I hugged Cathy Webb from Henderson State and turned to find my parents when a familiar face caught my attention.
Ice blue eyes stared at me from across the room. Everyone else faded away in the background as the distance between us closed. We were like magnets. One minute he stood on the other side of the crowd and the next had him close enough to touch. And touch I did. My hands rested on his chest without thought, embarrassment not even factoring into the moment.
“How did you know I’d be here?”
His hands rested on my hips. “You didn’t tell me you were a Lady Lion, Olivia Nguyen.”
My eyebrows drew together. “Why would that matter?”
“Because I attend UAFS, too.”
My eyes widened, and my mouth dropped open. “Seriously?”
Butterflies danced through my stomach, consuming me with excitement. I’d never imagined…never believed…oh hell, I never thought I’d see him again. Laughter bubbled out of me.
His face matched mine as he asked, “So, this isn’t stalkerish and creepy?”
I threw my head back and laughed. “Not at all, Kyle.”
He rolled his eyes. “That’s not my name, Livy.”
“Ew.” I scrunched my nose at him. “That’s not my name either.”
“Now I have a comeback,” he retorted with a shit-eating grin spread wide across his face. “You couldn’t wait to get outta there, so I wasn’t sure if chasing you was an option.”
“Yeah, I don’t do the whole dating thing and it was Spring Break. How
was I supposed to know we went to the same school?” His lips, eyes, and skin looked delectable. My tongue slid along my bottom lip at the memories cascading into my mind.
“Don’t look at me like that. You derail my thoughts. Plus, I need to know this isn’t a waste of time. You don’t date, so do I stand a chance?”
I took a moment to reflect on my reaction to seeing him. Excitement still coursed through me. Hell, I could even say I was ecstatic. He was the first guy that ever made me feel that way.
“I can make an exception,” I replied with all the sincerity I could muster.
He put a hand over his heart. “Golly, just for me?”
“Oh, shut up and kiss me.” I groaned then took his mouth. He tasted delicious, like he’d just eaten mint chocolate. Once we were breathless, we pulled apart. “Did you drive here?”
“Yes, ma’am. Do you need a ride?”
I scanned the crowded room before my gaze fell on him again. “I can text my coach and let her know I’m riding with someone else. This close to home, she won’t mind.”
He attacked my mouth and I couldn’t help but moan. “Good. I need you.”
“Ahem.” Someone cleared their throat loudly.
Our heads snapped in the direction of the noise. A frown formed before I could fake a smile. I was so busted. “Mom, Dad. This is Kylian.”
Dad’s eyes narrowed at him and Mom lifted a perfectly arched eyebrow. Mom spoke first. “Well, hello Kylian. Lovely to meet you, but do you mind not dry humping in front of us?”
“Shit,” I muttered.
His cheeks reddened in that adorable way and I couldn’t help but pat his chest. He tipped his cowboy hat—which I hadn’t noticed until then—in their direction and said with the best southern boy charm, “Pardon my manners. Sir, Ma’am, it’s nice to meet you.”
